Executive Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management & Finance

Monique Domangue is the Executive Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and Finance for Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).

She has worked for CIS since 2011, holding titles of accountant, financial analyst, director of financial analytics and director of revenue cycle management. She oversees functions of the CIS Business Office, including insurance and billing, pre-cert, and collections. She also manages financial analyses for CIS. Working with the analyst team, she supervises and participates in the analysis and preparation of reports and presentations of financial data for physicians, management and other end users of the corporation’s financial data. In addition, she directs and participates in the analysis of the practice’s patient statistics, clinical data, staffing analyses, benchmarking data and creation of financial proformas.

A native of Houma, Louisiana, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in education from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport.

In 2001, Domangue passed the exam for certified public accountants and received an award from the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants for the third highest score in the state for the November exam. She is currently a licensed certified public accountant. Domangue is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and the LCPA’s South Central Chapter. In 2016, she passed the Louisiana Notary examination and is currently a Notary for Terrebonne Parish in the State of Louisiana.
