David Konur, FACHE

Chief Executive Officer

David C. Konur is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), where he is dedicated to partnering with physicians and hospitals to deliver the highest quality of cardiovascular care. His passion lies in fundamentally transforming how cardiovascular care is delivered, addressing the needs of patients and providers today and in the future. During his tenure as CVL CEO, the company has experienced remarkable growth in its first year, expanding from one to four practices, increasing locations from 21 to 44, and nearly doubling the number of physicians and team members under his leadership. David also serves on the Cardiovascular Logistics board of directors.

Previously, David served as the CEO of the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) for nearly 25 years, one of the nation's most respected groups of cardiovascular specialists. Under his leadership, the cardiovascular practice grew to 21 locations across multiple states, providing thousands of patients with exceptional quality care. David received the company’s prestigious Fly High Award in 2017 for his dynamic vision and distinguished leadership in propelling the company into a healthcare and innovation leader. Prior to joining CIS, David was a senior executive at Terrebonne General Medical Center, where he developed a management services organization for the hospital’s physician practices.

David is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a certified medical practice executive of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, the American Medical Group Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition to CVL, David serves on several other boards for healthcare companies and civic organizations. Additionally, David has received multiple awards and honors, including a Gold Congressional Medal Award.

David received a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
